About Cubic Timeline Productions

Our Studio was founded in 2013 by Patrick Kelly, Andrew Wilton and Charles Olaes in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Our ownership team contains two programmers (Patrick and Charles), and a writer/accountant (Andrew). Our team was founded alongside the development of our first title NCG-19 Gravitus. NCG-19 was a 4x Sci-fi Space MMO that we announced at the Boston Festival of indie games in 2014. NCG-19: Gravtius ran for one year but cost overheads forced the closure of the servers, at which point we released the server software for free for players who wished to continue playing.

In 2015 we announced the development of Vulture which was released in 2017 on steam. Vulture is a vertical scrolling arcade shooter where the player can design ships from a library of fully destructible components. Vulture was entirely self funded by our studio and developed on a shoestring budget, eventually receiving mostly positive reviews on steam.

After the release of Vulture we began work on various proof of concepts such as 314 Elder St. and Crazy Cat Lady Simulator. Our studio focused on small rapid prototypes to market test new ideas but found it challenging to determine a project that both had market interest and was a good fit for our studio.
